We offer several term-time bus routes to help you with your travel to and from UoDB, if required.

There has recently been a UoDB transport review and as a result we now offer UoDB bus passes for the routes below only:

College bus pass

The college bus pass for the above routes will cost a flat rate of £350.00 per student.

Any other public bus routes that were previously covered by the use of a College bus pass should now be accessed by purchasing tickets through High Peak Buses directly. See also High Peak Bus Pass information (pdf).

It may also be worth looking into discounts available through the use of B-Line discount travel card through Derbyshire County Council.

Process to obtain a bus Pass

STEP 1 – Apply for a bus pass

You can apply now for your 2026/27 bus pass using the link or QR code below:

All transport information, including detail of the stops on bus routes and bus pass costs, will also be available at our enrolment event.

You will also be able to complete your bus pass application at the event if you are struggling to complete it in advance.

STEP 2 – Make payment or complete a bursary application

As part of the bus pass application process you will set up your payments. Alternatively, you will be able to apply for a bursary to provide help towards the cost of your bus pass.

There will be more information around bursary available at the enrolment event also.

STEP 3 – Receive your bus pass

Once payment has been received or confirmation of bursary application has been confirmed then your bus pass will be issued.

If you have applied for a bus pass you will be able to travel using your student card for the first 2 weeks of term while payment/bursary application is organised.
