Postgraduate Residential Session

This is an exclusive two day residential session for Post Graduate Students at Derby Management School. The session gives you the opportunity to enhance your skills as a leader and to enrich your studies at the University.

Session content:

Our broad themes will be leadership, team membership and the ability to learn from experience; the session will give you the opportunity to:

The session will be relaxed, enjoyable, stimulating and thought provoking in equal measure; using a variety of different types of content.

The main course methodology will be experiential learning. You will be involved in practical team activities linked to structured review sessions and periods of personal reflection. Short lecture style inputs will be used to introduce you to, or to refresh your knowledge of, relevant ideas but a good deal more time will be spent exploring team and leadership issues through practical experience. Over these two days, our expectation is that you will learn at least as much from each other, and from your own reflections, as you will from theoretical frameworks.

This session delivers a superb balance of enjoyment and learning and we very much look forward to seeing you there.
