This flagship event is a chance for current students and recent graduates to connect with top employers offering graduate schemes, placements, and internships across a wide range of sectors.

Whatever year of study you’re in, you’ll find valuable opportunities to boost your career. Meet recruiters face-to-face, ask questions, and gain insights into what employers are looking for. With roles available for all degree backgrounds, it’s the perfect time to explore your options and plan your next steps.

You’ll have the chance to network with professionals from over 50 employers, ask about graduate roles, placement and internship opportunities, and get tips on recruitment processes.

Current students and recent graduates

This event is open to all University of Derby students and recent graduates.

If you are a current student or recent graduate, you can book to attend the fair via UniHub.

Quiet hour

There will be a ‘quiet hour’ at the fair for anyone who wants to attend the event in a less busy environment.

If you would like to attend this session held from 10am to 11am, please book your place via Unihub. 

How to prepare for the fair

To get the most out of the fair, it's best to do some preparation.

Our Career Hub is open Monday to Friday, 10am – 4pm, and will be open during the fair too. You can get advice and support from the Careers and Employment Service on how to approach employers, ask any questions that you may have and get tips for applying to vacancies.
