Further Education Showcase 2024

The FE Showcase is the University of Derby's Post 14 Further Education and Skills, Initial Teacher Education annual conference. This event provides an opportunity for delegates to engage in research and evidence-based practice relevant to teaching in the Post-14 Further Education and Skills sector.

The event is centred on 'research-informed practice', with a series of workshops and keynote speakers sharing their expert knowledge and skills. The main event is a 'showcase' whereby trainees on the PGCE and Cert Ed in Post 14 FE and Skills will share how they have used the Teaching Walkthru techniques to improve their subject specialist teaching practice.

The FE Showcase promises to be a great day and will provide delegates with ample opportunity to think and learn with and from one another.

Oliver Caviglioli - Co-author of the Teaching Walkthrus series, Oliver will be sharing how to use these effectively to support teaching and learning.
