The EarthScale Regional Hub Event is part of the EarthScale project, bringing together a powerhouse network of regional hubs to build a connected, long-term ecosystem for scaling the UK’s most promising climate tech ventures.

EarthScale is an initiative aimed at supporting IP-rich climate tech startups and spinouts that scale to commercialisation. University of Derby is one of six founding universities providing support via EarthScale, along with Imperial College London (lead partner), Cranfield University, University of Leeds, University of Nottingham, and University of Exeter.

The project aims to support organisations during a 12-month programme to help them grow and scale, providing support around 4 main pillars of provision:

For the Regional Hub Event, we are bringing together partner universities, academic specialists, regional stakeholders, investors, entrepreneurs and businesses, to showcase aspects of sustainability, innovation and business at University of Derby and the wider local region. This event will help to develop the local ecosystem, focusing on sustainability, innovation and business growth, providing keynote speakers and workshops on vital regional topics, and offering an opportunity to network and engage with individuals within the industry.
