About the project

This project is supported by the British Council in collaboration with the Manahkshetra Foundation and Adamas University.

The British Council Going Global Partnerships, India programme, promotes collaboration and innovation in teaching and learning and transnational education in higher education institutions between India and the UK. The overarching aim of the Going Global Partnerships programme is to catalyse new teaching and learning partnerships that will allow Indian students to experience the UK education system and global learning approaches. A question is how can a training in the arts and health which meets Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) standards of proficiency (SOPS) and standards of education and training (SETS), which meets international standards of rigour and excellence, also respond in direct ways to the diverse cultural needs of a complex cultural context such as India?
