Arts Talk: Paul Hurley

Paul Hurley is an artist interested in human and non-human bodies and becomings. Since 2002 he has presented solo and collaborative performances and multimedia works in galleries and performance spaces internationally. His work teeters between the sacred and the profane, the conceptual and the parodic. Paul is also engaged in interdisciplinary research, within Visual Culture at the University of West of England, and within Geography and Environment at the University of Southampton. Between 2018-19 he is the artist-in-residence at the University of Bristol’s Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus.

The talk is part of the Digital and Material Artistic Research Centre (DMARC) in the School of Arts external speaker series.
