B2B Marketing: Crafting a comprehensive marketing campaign that aligns to your strategic business goals

Enscite is a partnership between the University of Derby and Aston University. The programme supports Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) within the aerospace, rail or automotive supply chain. Enscite is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

What is the workshop about?

What is next for your business? For some, this is a hard question to answer, while for others it is glaringly obvious. Either way, we know that we cannot get to where we want to be without our ideal customers being on board. Whether focussing on a new or existing customer base, the Enscite Marketing Workshops will help you entice and excite customers about your brand; allowing you to take the next step for your business. Upon completion, you will have a clear idea of how to construct a marketing campaign with actionable outcomes for business success.

Revolving around the three main phases of marketing strategy this three-part workshop series condenses years of experience and learning into a distilled and workable marketing solution for SMEs in the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire area. Each session focuses on the following elements:

As you come together with others in the same industry, networking opportunities abound while we unpack data-driven solutions for gaining traction, gaining ground and gaining brand success for your business.

The second section builds forth on the first - especially in terms of utilising the situational analysis and brand elements of your business for your marketing strategy. In this, we will look at setting marketing objectives that align to your organisational strategy; setting value propositions for organisational alignment; and how to employ segmentation, targeting and positioning as strategic marketing tools.

Our last session encapsulates the marketing 'legwork' that we did in the first two sessions by focusing on applying marketing mix elements to our specifically identified and articulated B2B situation. This session speaks to how internal organisational resources, structures and responsibilities need to be aligned to marketing tactics to ensure long-term success.
