In 2018 Paula Shaw was named a National Teaching Fellow by Advanced HE. This award is the most prestigious individual award in higher education and was awarded in recognition of her outstanding impact on student outcomes and the teaching profession.

Come and join Paula and learn about the teaching philosophy that underpins her innovative approach to her work with University of Derby Online Learning (UDOL) that ensures that students receive a fully inclusive future focused experience.

The event will include a live question and answer session with Paula and the Universities other National Teaching Fellows Prof. Malcolm Todd, Prof. Dennis Hayes and Prof. James Elander.

The event is aimed at University of Derby staff, whom will leave understanding the best practice in LTA that led to Paula’s award and feel inspired to develop and promote their own practice in the future.

Come and be inspired by the speakers and learn more about becoming a national teaching fellow.

The event will include light refreshments and an opportunity to network.
