Events calendar 2025/26

Our Think Reflect Succeed event for Year 10 students focuses on equipping students with the necessary independent learning skills for their current and future studies. Throughout the day we will focus on reflective thinking, metacognition and encourage your learners to develop their academic skills. 

Our Year 7-8 Experience Days provide students with the opportunity to see what university is like, learn more about university life, look around our facilities and meet our current students. On the day students will have the chance to take part in an interactive tour of our Kedleston Road site and engage in subject taster sessions, all while learning about higher education and its benefits.

Our Primary Explorers Days give pupils the chance to learn more about the University and explore university courses and careers. Tailored for primary, pupils will meet current students and take part in our educational activities designed to encourage students to start thinking about their future aspirations.

Tailored for primary, pupils will meet current students and take part in our educational activities designed to encourage students to start thinking about their future aspirations.

Our Care Experienced Students Experience Day provides students with the opportunity to visit the University with their carer and take part in a range of interactive taster sessions. Students will also receive a tour of our facilities, find out more about the additional support available for them and meet our current students.

Our Residential Summer School is an exciting opportunity for students to experience university life through a range of on-campus activities over three days whilst staying overnight at our Halls of Residence. Students will take part in a range of taster sessions and social activities, all designed to increase confidence and awareness of the opportunities available within HE.
