Health and Social Care

We provide a range of on-site events focusing on health and social care. These events are designed to give your students an insight into university life. We are also able to provide a range of taster workshops for your students. These sessions can take place at either the University or your school or college. Description: This event, based across all of our Derby sites, will give your students the opportunity to experience the breadth of courses we have to offer. They will be able to talk to current students, speak with support services such as Admissions, and get involved in activities run by our Union of Students. There are also taster sessions which provide a deeper understanding of the pathways and careers that our courses can lead to.

  • (Building) Blocks to success: can playing with plastic bricks really make a child get better?
  • Toxic parenting: the impact of poor mental health on parenting
  • Children and young people's workforce: exploring the range of jobs working with young people
