Sung-Hee Lee
Lecturer in Sociology and Social Policy

Dr Sung-Hee Lee has developed broad understanding in sociology and social policy, mainly focused on care and gender issues within the context of comparative study between Europe and East Asia. She is currently expanding this research agenda into a comparative study covering other East Asian countries such as Japan, Taiwan and China.

As third year tutor, Rebekah Marangon supports third year law students throughout the final year of their degree; enabling them to achieve their potential both academically and professionally. She also teaches Equity and Succession on the Law programme and has been nominated for internal and external awards for her teaching, and commitment to employability.

Dr Tim Marangon is a Senior Lecturer based in the Law School and is the Module Leader for several undergraduate modules. Broadly speaking, Dr Marangon's primary research interests lie in the areas of the law of tort, law at the end of life, and legal education.

Larry Mead
Principal Lecturer

Larry teaches Equity and Succession which is a core module for final year undergraduate law students. He ia also module tutor for the undergarduate Company Law and Evidence modules. His research interests are auditor independence and expert opinion evidence. 

Michala Meiselles
Senior Law Lecturer

As a Senior Law Lecturer at the University of Derby, Michala Meiselles leads undergraduate and postgraduate modules and acts as a supervisor for student dissertations on the LLB and LLM programmes. She also serves as College Representative on the Academic Board of the University. In 2018, she was awarded the status of Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

Vee Monro is a part-time lecturer teaching Criminal Law and Miscarriage of Justice. She is a practicing Criminal Lawyer sitting as a Deputy District Judge in the Magistrates’ Court. Vee was a former Crown Advocate working with the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), prosecuting in the Crown Court and Magistrates’ Court.

Jayne is a 3rd year tutor for the ML95 BSc (Hons) in Criminology programme. She teaches research methods/study skills modules at levels 4 and 5. She is also the module leader for Cybercrime at level 6 along with supervising UG and PG dissertation projects.
