As Programme Leader of the LLM programme, Dr Rachael Ita is responsible for the effective planning, monitoring and review of the programme. She also provides academic advice and pastoral support to students.  Rachael is also a Lecturer in law, with teaching responsibilities at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the Derby Law School.

Joanna Adhikari is a Lecturer in Criminal Psychology with research interests in the areas of aggression and impulsivity, domestic abuse perpetration and victimisation, coercive control, safeguarding adult and child victims of domestic abuse, and risk assessing.

As a Senior Lecturer in Law, Lisa Cherkassky teaches criminal law and medical law to law undergraduates, and has published widely in both fields, on topics such as causation, HIV transmission, genocide, saviour siblings, liver transplants, abortion law, and the welfare of the child.

Dr Thomas Dodsley is a Lecturer in Criminology and teaches on a range of subjects across various social science programmes. Dr Dodsley's teaching and research expertise lie in the fields of youth justice, cultural criminology and qualitative research methods.
