Continuing my studies at Derby
I decided to continue to my Masters Degree after the completion of my BA Honours Degree, when I realised how hard it was to get a job in the current financial climate. The idea of continuing my academic career to Masters Level was to not only expand my knowledge of the subject area, but to differentiate myself and enhance my employability.
Studying at Masters Level
I found the Masters Degree extremely interesting; during my time on the course we visited local businesses and even took part in a management training weekend, by far the highlight of the Masters Degree! I found the experience very informative and it helped me develop the skills required by employees.
Embracing the University experience
During my time at Derby I mixed with people from around the globe, learning about their cultures and ways of life and made many new friends.
Fantastic facilities at Derby
The University of Derby has fantastic facilities and there are plenty of resources to help you study. The lecturers were really supportive throughout the year. The lecturers have made it enjoyable during what is a steep learning curve at Masters Level.
