Asymptomatic testing

Our asymptomatic testing continues for all students and staff who need to be on campus. We strongly encourage you to make regular asymptomatic testing part of your routine. Please take two Covid-19 lateral flow tests per week, three days apart and test negative before attending site.

Book a lateral flow test (login required)

If you’re travelling to the UK to attend university then you’ll be required to do additional tests and isolation. Details can be found on the UK government’s website.

Why is it important you get tested for Covid-19?

One in three people with Covid-19 don’t have any symptoms. By identifying more people with the virus, we can help reduce the spread and help protect your learning and local communities. We are in this together. Please help us do everything we can to keep you and others as safe as possible.

You can now book a test or collect a home testing kit at our Kedleston Road site. Home testing kits can also be collected from our Chesterfield and Buxton sites, and from St Christopher’s Court hall of residence in Derby. You can also order free lateral flow tests to be sent to your home. All people arriving on site will be signposted to our testing facilities if they have not been tested in advance.
