Mandy moved into academia and became a lecturer in the College of Health and Social Care at the University of Derby. Mandy is now a Senior Lecturer and Assistant Programme Leader for Foundation Degree Nursing Associates and Assistant Practitioners

Claire has worked at the University of Derby since 2011. She has a BSc. (Hons) Psychology degree, MSc. in Health Psychology and PhD in Clinical Psychology. She worked as a Research Associate within the Psychopharmacology Department at the University of Nottingham testing novel treatments for Parkinson’s Disease, Alzheimer's and Addiction problems.

Georgia Harris is a Associate Lecturer in Forensic Psychology. She has worked across prison, hospital and community settings as part of her professional practice and actively seeks opportunities for continuing professional development.

Alison works one day a week for the University of Derby and the rest of the week in independent Occupational Therapy practice.

Dr Caroline Harvey
Senior Lecturer in Psychology

Caroline teaches a range of undergraduate and postgraduate modules on our Psychology programmes. She supervises PhD students and is an active researcher. Caroline's research is focused on two broad areas and she leads on research concerning compassion in higher education and also works as part of a team that are interested in the links between nature and wellbeing.
