What are the benefits of providing student placements?

Having students really keeps you on your toes in terms of your clinical reasoning. If I'm asking these questions I need to know exactly why I'm asking them. It makes your practice a lot better definitely. It makes me go home, practice subjects more, it's been a really good experience. I've really enjoyed it.

We give them projects to work on that have a direct benefit to us as a team. We've been able to gain from them as much as they gain from us. It's kind of encouraged us that these are opportunities that we can pursue in the future if that's what we want to do.

I really enjoyed my placement it gave me really good opportunity to advance my skills. I'd recommend it to anybody looking to take on a physiotherapy role.
