National Saturday Club: Chatsworth Masterclass video transcript

We've been going around Chatsworth.
Looking at all the different things the place has to offer.
Oh, we went to Chatsworth House.
We did some drawing.
Water drawing.
And, like,
how it how it moves, how the particles move and how we looked around the nature.
And I love the nature. Yeah. It's great.
Yeah.
We've been walking around Chatsworth House.
We've been using abstract to draw.
Well, I went to Chatsworth House, and it's been quite kind of amazing.
We've been walking around Chatsworth House and the gardens and the waterfalls,
And we've been trying to, like, investigate how water can affect,
like, our mental health and make us peaceful.
So this master class at Chatsworth House
has meant that the young people in the club
have been taken for a lovely  walk around the garden
many of them haven't ever been here
so they've followed the water routes
around the garden
and have been inspired to  create their own artworks
in response to that
Seeing everything.
Because everywhere, everywhere you look, it's
something just really pretty or nice to look at.
And I really loved, like, the villa fountain.
It's just like that one.
It was so fun.
Like the water was spray and it was like a perfect fountain.
I think like the inspiration from walking around with, like, the nature
and the water coming out of the tree and how the structures are made,
how like chance with how life is like all stone and everything.
It kind of gave me inspiration
to do a waterfall because it's a very nice waterfall.
That's amazing.
My favorite part was seeing the water gushing out of the tree with like,
no leaves on it, and I was surprised how water was coming out of it,
but it was like no water source coming out of it.
I've really liked, being
with the nature, of this place.
Well, most likely the fall when I saw that duck joining us
when I'm eating and also being part of that giant water foam
Engaging young people with the National  Saturday Club with Chatsworth House
and the experiences that they can gain from  being here in the garden and around the landscape
the beauty of the landscape, it's really  important for us to offer those experiences.
Many of the club have not been to Chatsworth House
so it's been lovely to show them all the  gardens and let them experience the water works.
The club means
that I can go every week, and also means that I can be confident and unexpected.
Change.
Seeing people experiencing new things
together. Have a very nice time.
meeting new friends.
It's like the happy part of my weekend.
It's like, I really look forward to the Saturdays.
I think it because I've been going for so long.
It's been three times now.
It kind of is kind of where the first time I went, I was really shy.
And the more I kept on going, the more confidence I got.
And it boost my confidence.
And now I feel okay because I do music and I perform, and now I feel even better.
And just meeting new people from different places, all nice and,
you know, making new friends and yeah, the future.
I think it's just seeing all the club members enjoy themselves.
It's the first time that a lot of them have been here, and they've all just had
such a wonderful time engaging with nature and also thinking
about their wellbeing and being able to slow down and relax a little bit.
it's just been so lovely to see the young people really engage in the activity.
When they were just drawn down by the water.
And one of my takeaway moments was that they kept stopping to take photos
and they were just really involved in it, and they said that,
they want to capture all the moments.
And I thought, that's so lovely.
The fact that they have said to me  about the National Saturday Club
how much confidence they've gained  while in the whole programme
and how excited they are about the  exhibition that they're going to do
It just all come together and  they just seem very happy with it.
Absolutely.
I'm so much more confident talking to people, doing things.
I feel like I've discovered more hobbies than I used to have.
Like I realized that I really love art.
And then even, like, we we danced at some point
and having like, fun and games with friends, all of them were really fun.
Yeah, it has changed me.
It helps me feel more calm and relaxed.
Yeah. Like confident. Why?
Like I already said. But it's just,
hanging around, you know, outside, doing crafts, playing
games, you know, every everything what any person would want you.
Yeah.
I feel like it's true.
I ask you is because I look at first I wasn't very good at all.
And I would say far, far away from me, but I feel like it's improved
it and it's improved my social skills.
It's changed me in practically every way I can.
I've been able to be more confident in change.
I've been able to talk to strangers, I don't know.
And I've been.
And it's made me more confident in my body and looks
