Arriving in September

International students

When you have accepted the offer for a place on a course you can start to plan your journey from overseas.

It's a good idea to let the International Department know when you are arriving in the UK so they can support you.

You may also want to book the University's Meet and Greet Service for students arriving at UK airports. The service is free but you should book in advance and there will be more information about this coming soon.

When you have accepted the offer for a place on your course you can start to plan moving in to halls. Most people move into halls during Welcome Weekend and we recommend that you arrive on our official Welcome Day which will be Saturday 9 September 2017. Welcome Day is when the majority of people arrive so most students will be settling in together and there is also a special event at night for Freshers.

In June we will be asking you to let us know when you're arriving and book your arrival slot even if you are not coming on Welcome Day.

Don't worry if you can't move in on that day - it's easy enough to make alternative arrangements. Please contact your Hall Manager to arrange when you will be arriving.
