London Film Academy (LFA)

London Film Academy (LFA) offers world-class training in filmmaking via intensive, hands-on teaching from practicing industry professionals, in a collaborative and nurturing environment. Whether a two-year BA(Hons) Filmmaking, one-year Diplomas or short courses, students leave with a diverse showreel, and the skills, knowledge and ongoing support necessary to succeed in today’s competitive industry.

Our internationally recognised, practical courses cover all aspects of filmmaking. Whether fiction or documentary, screenwriting or directing, cinematography or production, students benefit from the latest equipment and technology, and hone their craft by learning in small, focused groups.

LFA has been reviewed by QAA, Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education. The QAA review team identified the following features of good practice at LFA:

Award Ceremonies

Awarding students are invited to attend the University of Derby Awards Ceremonies which are held in July and November.
