Across our community we:

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA)

These courses are available to organisations across D2N2, with a 20 per cent discount on the two day course. Courses are subject to the following delegate numbers: 

  • One and two day courses: 8 - 16 delegates
  • Half day course: 12 - 24 delegates
  • Price: £35 per delegate via zoom or £50 face to face.
  • Duration: 3.5 hours

Course price:

  • £100 per delegate (face to face only)

This two day course consists of four individual sessions which can be delivered over two full days or four half days. Sessions are a maximum of three hours each and take place over a four week period. 

Course price:

  • £150 via Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England online
  • £200 per delegate face to face
  • Prices cover tutor fee & admin / resource costs
  • Resources can be posted directly to delegates place of work or home address free of charge. Please allow up to 10 days for delivery
  • MHFA England Certificates are emailed upon completion of the course and feedback is via email

Personal Safety Trainers

Personal Safety Trainers provide Ofqual registered First Aid For Mental Health accredited qualifications. Mental Health is vital and can affect the way we think, feel or behave. Embedding First Aid For Mental Health training into your workplace helps people to talk more freely about Mental Health, reduces stigma, encourages early intervention and enables recovery. It also supports a positive mental health culture.  The courses offered are outlined below.

Provides learners with the knowledge to recognise signs and symptoms of a suspected mental health condition, the skills to start a conversation and signpost a person towards professional help.

  • Group Price: £450

Provides learners with comprehensive knowledge on a range of the most common mental health conditions and the skills to be able to act should a condition be suspected. Learners undertaking this course will be considered First Aiders for Mental Health and be a point of contact within the workplace, to help and support those with a suspected mental health condition.

  • Group Price: £750
  • Maximum delegate number: 12

Covers a wider range of mental health conditions, signs, symptoms, therapy and professional support that a person may be given during treatment. The course is suitable for all persons within a workplace but is aimed at those who hold a supervisory/managerial position and or have responsibility for implementing First Aid for Mental Health within an organisation.

  • Group Price: £1,500
  • Maximum delegate number: 12

Vocational Rehabilitation (VR)

Vocational rehabilitation is a multidisciplinary intervention offered to those with physical, psychological and/or social difficulties enabling a return to work or preventing loss of work.

Vocational Rehabilitation Association UK (VRA) is leading the professional delivery of effective vocational rehabilitation, offering independent support and advice. VRA has several tools and resources that will assist employers and employees within the workplace including support when returning to work after a period of absence, mental health support and occupational health. Health 2 Employment 

H2E help roll out the Access to Work scheme across central England on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions. We are a specialist healthcare company, providing a variety of products and services including welfare to work, pre-employment support for those who have disabilities and our bespoke corporate One Occupational Health service.

Access to work is a government funded scheme which supports staff members who may be experiencing mental health issues whilst in their work environment. Our trained health professionals offer advice, guidance and support throughout the nine month programme, helping staff to experience more good days than bad. Our one-to-one support network enables employees to come forward and openly discuss their mental health via our confidential service.

DLS Safeguarding and Wellbeing Solutions was formed in 2011, but is the culmination of 35 years knowledge and experience in education, Social Care, Learning and Development, the criminal justice system and Mental Health First Aid.
