Enscite is a partnership between the University of Derby and Aston University. The programme supports Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) within the aerospace, rail or automotive supply chain. Enscite is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

What is the workshop about?

Our latest research offers a wealth of information on the types of activities businesses currently engage in, and the activities that are required to achieve high growth. A large proportion of businesses focus primarily on long-term planning, investing in technology, developing capabilities for innovation, and managing knowledge and resources. However, to experience high growth, comprehensive strategy development and planning are essential.

Growth not only relates to market growth, but also to the growth of the business as a whole. The concept of strategy, though widely used, is not always clear. This session will explore the components of a comprehensive strategy and how to link the different aspects of your strategy together, so that you can achieve exponential growth within your organisation.

Meet your speaker

The session will be hosted by our expert in business growth. Mark has an extensive background in supporting businesses of all sizes. Most recently he has impacted the growth of 1000s of SMEs through research and coaching interventions for ambitious business owners.
