The Podcast Studio

Located at Markeaton Street Campus, our Podcast Studios feature two ‘Operator/Broadcaster’ studios and one Control Room + Live Room space, the latter ideal for roundtable discussion of up to four people. The entire suite of studios integrates multiple systems, bringing them together for efficient central processing. Having recently been significantly upgraded, sound processing is now managed by the industry-leading Calrec Type R solution. The studios are set up to function independently or to be networked, providing flexible options for various audio production needs. Recording and playback are handled by PlayoutOne software, and all microphones are the high-quality Rode NT1 Signature Series Condenser Microphones. The studios can be hired 'dry' or with a dedicated sound engineer to manage your production for you.
