Graduation Day 2017

Students from the University of Derby’s Centre for Mineral Products celebrated their graduation.

A group of professionals working for companies including Hanson, Aggregate Industries and Tarmac, to name but a few, graduated with University qualifications in a range of subjects, from Minerals Management, Mineral Extractives, Asphalt and Pavements, Concrete, Cement and Clay. Additionally, higher apprentices were awarded in Mineral Products Technology.

Certificates were presented to those who successfully completed their studies whilst in full-time employment, at a ceremony on Friday, July 14th at Derby Arena.

The students were joined at the ceremony by their families, employers and wider industry representatives.
