Facilities - Real world learning - University of Derby

Facilities

Over the last ten years, the University of Derby has invested over £150 million in the some of the best university facilities in the UK.

The College of Business, Law and Social Sciences is home to many of those investments, from our Bloomberg Financial Markets Lab to Crown Court, and Criminology Labs to a fully equipped commercial day spa. Real world learning is at the heart of our teaching. We are committed to ensuring our students are equipped with the skills and knowledge required to succeed in the workplace once graduating.

This approach to teaching means we are a number 1 university in the East Midlands for graduate employment*, with 96% of our graduates are in employment or further student six months after graduating**.

Explore our facilities and the learning opportunities available to you, both at our Derby Campus (Kedleston Road and One Friar Gate Square) and Buxton Campus.
