The University also has excellent value accommodation if you are living away from home. We have six halls of residence in Derby and one in Buxton, all located near to the University campuses and city/town centres. If you do not want to live in halls then there is also university approved private accommodation.

Team Derby

Team Derby is for students who are either currently studying a sports course at the University or are thinking about studying with us. We have experienced professionals teaching on our courses and supporting all the areas of Team Derby which ensures a unique sporting experience for all students of the University.

Our partnerships with local professional sports clubs and other sporting bodies allow us to offer new and exciting opportunities for students as well as providing links to develop a career in sport through work placements and job experience.

We also offer coaching and volunteering opportunities which help students to gain relevant work experience and develop their vocational skills whilst enhancing their employability within the sporting industry. The Team Derby Coaching Bursary scheme has been developed to support the development of our coaches and officials through subsidising the cost of coach and volunteer education.
