If you can evidence your carer responsibilities, you may be eligible for a parking permit at the Kedleston Road site. Please check the Eligibility criteria in the first instance, and submit an application form.
Can I Car Share?
We do encourage you to car share and share the cost of car parking - as much as possible though. However we can only issue a permit to you if you are applying for a permit for your own car.
What do I do if I change my car?
Pop in to the Student Centre at Kedleston Road with your permit and your new vehicle details (and Insurance Certificate) and we'd be happy to give you a new permit. There will be a charge for this for the 3 day permit £25.00 for lost permit
Why do you need to see my Insurance documents?
This is purely for security and insurance purposes. We treat your data with the strictest confidence under Data Protection guidelines and your information will not be shared with another.
Can I claim a refund if I no longer need my permit?
Unfortunately, no refunds are available for Markeaton Park (Park and Ride) permits.

No - spaces are subject to availability.
What if I have two or more cars?
You may only have one car on the 3 day permit as this is a scratch card permit. You can have 2 on the 5 day permit. We will only issue one permit with both car details on and you will need to transfer accordingly. If you have more than two cars please contact a Student Centre Advisor on 01332 591066
