Learning Spaces Day

This event, hosted by Learning Enhancement and IT Services, is designed to update staff on new classroom designs and technology, provide an opportunity to observe and share innovative practice and encourage the adoption of new and innovative classroom practice.

There will be demonstrations and presentations from academic staff, sharing their experiences on using these new learning spaces:

1.00-1.15 pm  Introduction (Simon Birkett)

The afternoon will include:

  • Enhancing and developing your digital skills in the classroom
  • Drop in sessions to explore new teaching spaces for 2015
  • Teaching survival tips from academic staff
  • Advice and guidance from Learning Technology Advisors
  • Training and support from Field Services staff
  • Refresher sessions on Interactive Whiteboards, Visualisers, Panopto, Turning Point, Box of Broadcast, Media Gallery

What's Happening ...

Practitioners' perspectives

Tuesday, 27 June (10 am - 12 pm)

Tutors from the Foundation Programme Joint Honours will be available to discuss teaching and marking practices. Examples of marked work will be available to view. This work is internally and externally moderated.
