World class research
Over half of our research activity has been ranked as 'of international excellence', and some even as 'world class'
We entered four units for the Government's Research Assessment Exercise 2008:
- Biological Sciences
- Psychology
- Art and Design
- Communication, Cultural and Media Studies.
At least 50% of all our submitted research in each unit was judged to be of international class, and some research in each unit was assessed as internationally excellent.
An impressive 25% of our research in Communications, Cultural and Media Studies was judged to be world leading.
