Cara Nolan

Since becoming a member of Uncontained Arts, Cara has been involved in a variety of projects most recently the 'On Stage' youth theatre and A-Z Children's Festival at the Buxton Opera House, and a devised performance for the University of Derby's Equality and Diversity week.

Her recent performances in theatre include:

  • Bron in Ed Thomas' Gas Station Angel (Derby Assembly Rooms),
  • Maria/Sebastian in Twelfth Night 'Or What You Will' (Shakespeare in the Dome, Buxton),
  • Joseph K in Stephen Berkoff's The Trial (University of Derby),
  • Rita in Willy Russell's Educating Rita (Buxton Opera House),
  • Sophie/Little Mermaid in The Little Mermaid (National Tour 2009),
  • Hero in Much Ado About Nothing (Shakespeare in the Dome, Buxton)
  • and Alice in Alice in Wonderland (National Tour 2010).

Her recent performance in television:

  • Sarah - Newly Qualified Teacher in Teachers T.V (Maverick television).

Cara will also be reprising her role of Rita in July 2010 at the Derby Theatre.
