Uncontained Arts
What is Uncontained Arts?
Derby is home to Uncontained Arts - an exciting, pioneering and versatile theatre company made up of our graduates. The team is based at Derby Theatre and runs several youth theatres for schools, produces musical evenings and tours the country each year with their latest own devised shows.
They took their show Not So Grimm Fairy Tales on a four month national tour, a regional schools tour, to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and performed in the famous Gilded Balloon, and to the English Theatre in Warsaw.
During 2012, Uncontained Arts will be touring their own version of the classic children's story, Treasure Island.
