What's in it for you?

How does Train to Gain benefit you if you're a business?

Train to Gain can improve business productivity and competitiveness by ensuring that your employees have got the right skills to do their best for the job. Train to Gain will help your business meet the skills you need by helping you to choose the best training package. If your business has less than 50 employees you can receive wage compensation for the time that each member of your staff spends in training.

How does Train to Gain benefit you if you are a learner?

By 2012 85% of jobs will require skills and competencies at or around level 3.

You can ensure that you don't limit your choice of jobs in the future by gaining further qualifications at levels 2 and 3 and you'll also increase your employability.

How does it work?

A Work Based Learning Assessor will be allocated to you when you start your training. All training can be carried out in the workplace at a time that is most convenient to you and your employer.
