Lots of our courses offer you the chance to go on a work placement, where you can really put your knowledge into practice.
It's a great way of developing all the skills employers are looking for, as well as gaining lots of relevant work experience which will make you stand out from the crowd.
We have links with top organisations and employers in industry, and a dedicated work placement and professional development team who will help you to get the most out of your placement experience.
Work placements are also a great way of improving your studies, as you will get to know a lot more about the industry you want to work in.

As well as offering placements, we do lots more to help you gain the knowledge and skills you will need:
- We're involved in research and partnerships, so we can make sure your course covers the subjects employers want you to know.
- We've guest lectures from some top professionals and employers, to inspire you and answer your questions about becoming a professional in the industry.
- We've got some fantastic training facilities in catering, spa, hair and beauty for example, so you'll be really familiar with all the modern equipment, have all the knowledge you need for your career, and gain a real practical experience from the start.
