Every week on a Tuesday
......we meet to pray for the University and our other concerns from 12.30 to 12.45.in the Oasis Space (CL303). Staff and students all welcome! Email your prayer requests to chaplains@derby.ac.uk
Then at 4.30, also on a Tuesday ... head down to High Peak Halls for the Fairtrade Tea!
Tea, coffee and cake in the Common Room from 4.30. It's all free and it's all fair-trade! Come early if you want the home-made cake!
Global Cafe
This is a fun social event open to all, every other Thursday. Join us in the Boiler House (entrance near the main entrance to the Dome), 7.30 - 9.30pm, for free refreshments, chat, games, optional Bible activity and a special focus each time.

First ever Chaplaincy / Churches Together in Buxton Annual Lecture:
"Promoting Peace, Inciting Violence: the Role of Religion and Media" by Professor Jolyon Mitchell.
This will be a fascinating lecture. Prof Mitchell will analyse a wide range of media, from posters, cartoons and stained glass to websites, radio and film, drawing from diverse examples from around the world, including Iran, Rwanda and South Africa. Not to be missed!! Please reserve your free place by contacting the Chaplaincy.
