Tyrelle Newton - FdEng Motorsport Engineering
Tyrelle is a second year FdEng Motorsport Engineering student and part of the Doughnutters business set up by our students to organise track days. Tyrelle marshalls the track days and helps out generally.
Tyrelle is from London and already has a mechanics apprenticeship that he did with Peugeot. He has also worked as a go kart mechanic on tracks.
What do you think of the lecturers here at Derby?
"The lecturers are well experienced and have expert knowledge on their subjects. They are enthusiastic and provide great support on an individual basis."
What do you think to the facilities here at Derby?
"The facilities are very good and they are one of the reasons I came to study here at Derby. They offer great equipment and the facilites generally are excellent."
What would you say to somebody thinking of coming to study here at Derby?
"You won't be dissappointed if you come to Derby. It is a fantastic place to learn, there is a great variety of people and a lot of support for you on a personal level."
