Public transport

Where practical and costs are reasonable, we recommend travel to and from airports is undertaken using public transport.

Locally, trains can be caught directly from Derby station to Birmingham International Airport.

For travel to East Midlands Airport there is the skylink bus service from Derby city centre or the station.

There is also a frequent bus service from Buxton town centre to Manchester Airport called the skyline.
