About this module
This module forms an introduction to systems theory and aims to explore how systemic ideas and theories might be used to support the development of the participant in their practice context. It is recognised that a key systemic process is to consider how context affect our relationships.
This module aims to explore the stance and approach practitioners take to their work, providing a sound ethical foundation for moving on to consider the methods and techniques used in practice. There is an emphasis throughout on the synthesis between theory, practice and reflection and the learning, teaching and assessment process is shaped by these principles.
