I'm now working in the audio department at Eurocom testing their audio and training up to be a full time Sound Designer in the near future.

Sarah Scott

Sarah Scott had a distinct ambition to forge a career as a sound designer for games companies. She spent time working as a Freelance EVS Operator, which included being the screen operator for the big screens at Wembley Stadium, screen operator for a Mazda launch, Sky Sports games and other BBC events.

Then Sarah took a job as a QA tester for the Derby based games company Eurocom Entertainment, working on the Beijing Olympics video game and the Mummy 3 game.

"Whilst working as a tester I spent lot of time focusing my expertise and what I'd learned from Uni on picking apart the audio in the games and putting in lots of suggestions to the audio department. As a result of that they offered me a job as a trainee Sound Designer, which I snapped up! I'm finally heading to where I want to be, getting all the training I need to be a full time sound designer in the games industry."
