Chris is a very talented musician and producer, who has shown he has the potential to go all the way in the music industry.

Chris Baldwin, who graduated from BSc (Hons) in Multimedia Technology and Music Production course, who had his music featured on a BAFTA award winning film, is going to share his expertise with current students.

Chris, wrote the soundtrack for the BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) award winning short film Dog Altogether, directed by Paddy Considine. He won critical acclaim with the Best Original Music for Short Film award at the Premiers Plans International Film Festival held in France.

Paddy's and Chris's joint-owned label Clinical Finish Records acts as a route to market for their indie rock band Riding The Low.

Chris has now enrolled on the Graduate Teacher Programme (GTP) at the University of Derby that will qualify him to teach his many skills to local students.

He splits his time between scoring movie soundtracks; running an independent record label; performing in his own bands and co-directing a business offering audio and visual sound solutions to industry.

Chris praised the talents of Stephanie Marsland, Programme Leader on the Multimedia Technology and Music Production course , "Steph really knows her subject and through her teaching methods and mutual respect, I felt I'd had an excellent experience at the University of Derby," he added.
