Bristol and Cheddor fieldtrip weekend
Our Architecture and Built Environment students had the opportunity to go on a fieldtrip weekend to Cheddor and Bristol as part of their course.
On the Friday they went to Cheddor and explored the caves, on Saturday they went to Bristol and discovered the docks and the bridges, and on Sunday they went to see the Severn bridges.
"One of the highlights of the trip was the interaction with the lecturers and fellow students. The trip was thoroughly enjoyable and has helped with my learning and understanding of the subject I am studying. The lecturers were very helpful".
Paul Hands, Civil Engineering student.
"We went to see the SS Great Britain, caves, the Severn and Clifton bridges, architectural buildings and loads more. It was an amazing trip. I'm so glad I went and I took a load of pictures that I can use in my studies. The trip has also helped me to understand the subject more. It was very well organized, Brian Counter and Derek Spalton and all the others who helped with the trip did a great job."
Fay Alsaqabi, one of our 3rd year Kuwait students studying BEng Civil and Infrastructure Engineering.
