Joint Honours Scheme

sport and exercise

Employers increasingly value graduates who demonstrate versatility in their skills and knowledge set.

Students do not need to restrict their opportunities in life by only studying one subject at University.

At the University of Derby, we have a Joint Honours Scheme that runs across a wide variety of subjects. Under the scheme, students can study degrees in two closely related subjects or two very diverse subjects.

Our experienced Academic Counsellors would like come into your school or college and lead a session aimed at stimulating your Year 12/Level 3 students into thinking what kind of degree they really want to take.

This session will last about an hour and will be a mixture of presentation and activities geared at enabling your students to reflect on what their interests are and how these could be developed in higher education. There will be an emphasis on learning for life and how a broad range of skills, knowledge and learning experiences helps students prepare for this.
