Flexible study
We offer a number of flexible study options so that you can study full time, part time or online, which means that you'll be able to fit your course around your work or other commitments.
Taught postgraduate courses
You'll usually need an undergraduate degree for one of these courses, which include postgraduate certificates, postgraduate diplomas and masters degrees.
Most of them are modular, so you can build up credits at a pace to suit you.
Most masters degrees are broken down into stages, so you achieve interim qualifications along the way - postgraduate certificate then postgraduate diploma.
Generally you'll build on the knowledge you gained in your undergraduate degree, but some postgraduate courses allow you to change direction as you don't need any prior knowledge.
Postgraduate research opportunities
If you're interested in research, you can choose our MA Humanities, or you can study for a PhD or MPhil in an area that interests you.
You'll undertake your own in-depth study of an area of your choice, supervised by a team of specialists.
Professional courses and qualifications
Professional courses are aimed at people who have experience of working in a specialist area wanting to further their career and development. You don't always need an undergraduate degree for these courses.
These courses are often internationally recognised qualifications accredited by professional bodies such as the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Institute of Acoustics or British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies.
