Postgraduate taught degrees

You will normally be expected to have an appropriate undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification, a professional qualification of equal standing, or a substantive portfolio of work. 

We consider applications for postgraduate taught degrees throughout the year, but we recommend applying at least six weeks before your expected start date.

Professional postgraduate courses

We consider applications for professional courses throughout the year, but we recommend applying at least six weeks before your expected start date.

Apply directly to the University for all professional postgraduate courses, apart from PGCE, GTP, ACCA, CIMA, CIPS and CIM courses.

As part of your application you will need to complete a personal statement.

ACCA, CIMA, CIPS, and CIM courses

To apply for ACCA, CIMA, CIPS, and CIM courses, download an application form.

PGCE courses

For PGCE courses you need to apply online through the Graduate Teacher Training Registry (GTTR).

Graduate Teacher Programme (GTP)

Application to the Graduate Teacher Programme is a joint one between yourself and a local school where you'll be employed as an unqualified teacher during your training period.

You need to apply online through the Training and Development Agency (TDA) for Schools.

Most suitable applicants will be called for interview. This gives us the opportunity to explore your academic experience and knowledge of specific subjects.
