You can combine over 40 different subjects to study a joint honours degree. We also offer a wide range of postgraduate and professional courses.

In The Guardian University Guide 2013 our courses in Tourism, Transport and Travel are in the top 10, Education, Music, Architecture, and American Studies the top 20, with Building and Town & Country Planning in the top 30. Our BEd course is also rated 'Outstanding' by OFSTED, and our Photography degree is the longest established in the country.
In the National Student Survey 2011 over 80% of our students were fully satisfied with their course. We were also voted the top university in England to study primary initial teacher education. Our BA (Hons) History has scored 100% for the last 2 consecutive years.

That’s why the Destination of Leavers from Higher Education Survey 2010/2011 shows nearly 90% of our graduates are employed or in further study six months after graduation. Many of our degree courses are accredited by professional bodies, such as the Chartered Management Institute or the Chartered Institute of Marketing. This means that you’ll graduate with more than just a degree.

- BA (Hons) Business Management is one of the few degrees in the UK where you will graduate with a Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership.
- BA Commercial Photography is one of only 10 courses in the UK to be accredited by the British Institute of Professional Photography.
- BEng Electrical & Electronic Engineering is accreditated by the Institution of Engineering and Technology.
- our Marketing degrees are amongst only a few in the UK that are accredited by The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).
