When you’ve decided to apply for a place at the University of Derby, we’ll invite you to attend one of our Applicant Days either at Derby, Buxton or Chesterfield - depending where your course is based.
These take place between February and April each year.
While our Open Days enable you to explore our Campuses and world-class facilities, Applicant Days are specially designed to give you a taste of the course that you’re interested in studying. You’ll meet course tutors and current students, and join other applicants to take part in a typical lecture or practical session to give you an idea of what to expect when you choose to come here. There’ll be lots of opportunities to ask specific questions about the course itself and the different careers that our graduates enjoy when they leave us.
You’ll also have the chance to visit – or revisit – our halls of residence, tour the other facilities around our Campuses, and speak personally to staff from our admissions, careers, fees and finance and student wellbeing teams.
We know that choosing a University that is right for you is a big decision. So we make effort to ensure that Applicant Days give you the best opportunity to experience what life as a student here at the University of Derby is actually like.
Applicants Days for students applying to start University in autumn 2016 have now finished. But if you still have questions about studying here at Derby, we’re here to help. You can get in touch by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 01332 591044.
