What I can help with

I'm the Information Analyst within the University of Derby's Admissions team. I deal with the provision of Admissions statistics and management information of all kinds that help us to plan our activities throughout the year, as well as preparing us for future intakes.

I also set up and maintain our course and entry information on the UCAS website - helping prospective applicants to find the courses they're interested in, as well as helping to make sure the application process between UCAS and the University runs smoothly.

My background

I graduated with a degree in Linguistics from Lancaster University in 1996, before moving into Human Resources, gaining my CIPD professional qualifications in 2002. Prior to taking up my position at the University in 2004 I worked as HR Systems Officer for Balfour Beatty and as a project worker trialling Key Stage 3 assessment software in schools for the QAA.
