Hi my name is Jay Pearson and I'm the student liaison officer for the faculty of Business, Computing & Law.
We offer a wide range of services and have an extensive support network that I'm a part of that can help you to make the most of your time here and to enable you to reach your full potential.
However, when things aren't going well it is sometimes hard to know where to go for help - and that's where I come in!
The main purpose of my role is to help and assist you whilst you study here. Although I'm not an academic you can talk to me about anything that's bothering you - in confidence.
I've worked with students for many years and I know some of the challenges that you may face. So, if you aren't sure who or what to ask- ask me and I'll point you in the right direction.
I will also be keeping you up to date with BCL news and issues throughout the year so, please check out our BCL website.
