Questions about your sexuality
Having questions about your own sexuality does not inevitably mean that you are gay.
Many young people experience uncertainty over their sexual identity and some experimentation is not unusual. For many this uncertainty will eventually pass.
Even for those who are older, many people believe that sexual identity is not totally fixed but can shift and fluctuate.
The process of accepting your sexuality can be a difficult and painful one but it is also one that will often lead to you being happier and more at peace with yourself.
Support is available within the university to help you address these questions.
Counselling
The University counselling service provides a free service to students to explore any issues that may be causing difficulty in your life. Find out more information about our counselling services.

Support and affirmation from your peers can be extremely valuable. The Student Union has a very active LGBT Society, which meets both for social occasions and to organise campaigns.
