Disabled students
We know that having the right support in place, as soon as possible, is key to ensuring that you can get the most from your time at university.
The Student Wellbeing Service will work with you, from the earliest opportunity, to tailor the right support package for you. We can offer a wide range of on campus and in class support, lots of helpful information and advice and we can help you liaise with social services to set up any support you might need outside the university.
If the University of Derby is one of your choices, it is vital that you make contact with us as soon as possible, to discuss the support that you need. Please follow our step by step guide to organising your support now if you haven't already contacted us.
The links on the left hand side of this page will give you more information on how support for disabled students is provided and funded.
You can find our contact details here. Please also see the DisabledGo website for information on access at the University of Derby. DisabledGo is an independent organisation that provides information for disabled people.
