Meet other people with an autistic spectrum disorder
There are many students attending the University of Derby who have an autistic spectrum disorder.
It can be helpful to meet other students who understand what it is like to have autistic spectrum disorder. Sharing experiences and learning good tips from each other can help you to settle in to university life and be successful.
It can also be helpful to know some people who understand why you react and communicate in ways that might be different to other people.
We organise regular get togethers for students who have an autistic spectrum disorder. If you would like to attend these events please let us know by emailing us at studentwellbeing@derby.ac.uk or by speaking to your university support worker if you have one.
